We made it to California and decided to take the girls to the Sacramento Zoo and Fairy Tale Land. My sister came up and met us with her kids, and then Tyler's sister also came up with her four kids and two of their cousins. We were quite a group, but the kids all had so much fun. The highlight for our girls was the Fairy Tale Land, which had tons of slides and things to play on all themed of course after Fairy Tales.
And the best part: the weather was amazing! For most of the time we were in California the temps were in the mid 70s, which is so unheard of for July. We didn't question it, but enjoyed having to put on long sleeves in the early morning. It felt so nice after a year plus of constant heat.
