I really wanted to take the kids out and do some hiking while our friend Jan was visiting. Being that they are 4 and 2 however I tried not to be too ambitious. This hike was a few miles roundtrip and well worth it! Tucked back in the Sierra Nevada mountains, the hike ended at this remote waterfall, and Emily even hiked the entire way herself! We really broke the mini-van in on this one. . . . can you say one lane, dusty, rocky, pot-hole filled road? SO worth it though, the waterfall was beautiful and the girls enjoyed their dip in the frigid snow-melt off water.
