Carolyn came into town for a visit! Being that her favorite thing in the world is museums she was quite in heaven. We joined her for one morning at the Native American Museum, and I think she quickly realized why the museum with three small ones is, well, a different experience! We all enjoyed it though and after lunch the girls and I left her to more in depth museum enjoyment. On our way home we walked through the National Botanical Gardens and by the Capital Building. It was one of those days when I remember why I love DC!
It was a ton of walking and I was particularly proud of Emily, who walked the entire day. One the way home I asked if she wanted a treat for being such a big girl. Poor girl looked at me and simply said "how about a cold ice water?" Needless to say we stopped at the next cart and bought my girl a large ice water.
