Matching Girls

So lately both girls have loved to dress in matching outfits. I will admit I, on occasion, enjoy dressing them in the same outfit, but this has some serious limits. I will not replace all of Hannah's hand me down outfits just so they can match. I also refuse to spend exorbitant amounts on matching outfits (or non-matching outfits for that matter). Occasionally I break down (ie Easter, Christmas) and then sometimes my mom sends them little matching clothing, but that is it. I think they currently have two matching dresses and one matching nightgown, the rest of the time I just end up faking it when they really want to match (ie both in jeans with with pink shirts, etc).

Yesterday morning Emily carefully selected her outfit (overall dress) and then insisted that Hannah wear the same thing. She lucked out having selected one of the few outfits that currently fit both girls that match. She always tells me she wants to match so everyone will know that Hannah is HER baby sister. What a great big sister! The funniest, though, is that Hannah now seems to love matching. She will grab her Easter dress (that she knows they both have), bring it to me and then wander off to find Emily's and insist that I put them both into them. They recently received some princess nightgowns in the mail from my mom and Hannah was enthralled with the fact that they were matching. She kept pointing to her chest and then running over and pointing to Emily's and squealing.

Aren't they funny?! The bottom line is they adore each other and this is just one simple way they both show it. Is there anything better than sisters who adore each other?

Seriously, could your kids be any cuter? I can't see Emily convincing her sister she's adopted anytime soon. :)
