I'll give you a hint, we already spent two years living in this country.
Guess what? We are going back! After months of behind the scenes work, we received our paperwork that we will be headed back to Korea in the summer of 2008. It means our time in Barbados will be cut short by a year, and trust me we will miss the beaches, but it also means we get to go back to a country that we love.
Tyler's job will take us not to Seoul this time but to Busan which is on the Southern tip of the peninsula. We visited Busan a few times while we lived in Seoul and LOVED the city. So when this job opened up it was too good to pass on. Tyler will be working as the American Presence Officer, basically working as a single American officer in Busan focusing on public affairs, commerce and American Citizen Services. We are very excited!
We are excited for the food, for the beautiful fall weather, the cherry blossoms in the spring. We are excited to live in a new city and have new things to explore. We thrilled to be 45 minutes from one of our favorite cities in the world, Gyeongju, the ancient capital of Korea. I am excited to return to four seasons and Emily is excited to see snow. Hannah will return to her birth land, though she has no memory of it. We are also excited for the things we cannot get here: Burger King, Outback, Krispy Kreme, to name a few. . . .
So if anyone intends to visit us in Barbados, get planning. And if you want to visit in Korea, feel free to get planning, too.

Yeah! We are so excited to have you back in our part of the world. We'll have to visit you(we'd like to now, but Barbados is pretty dang far away).

Are you making any stop offs in the US on your way?
Kudos to you all! Wasn't that the place when you and Tyler swam with the sharks?
See you in Korea! :)
