Happy Memorial Day!

First we need to offer our extreme gratitude to those who have and do serve in the Armed Forces. It is not an easy time to serve our country, making our respect to you even more heartfelt and sincere.

To help enjoy the day off work (ironically it was also a Barbados holiday) we took the girls to a resort here on the island and spent the day enjoying their pool, their beach, and getting lunch at their restaurant. The girls loved the chance to be in a pool. Emily especially loved the children's pool once she realized that she could touch. The girls are such fish, it was fun to let me swim around in the pool vs. the ocean where the surf makes it harder for the girls to actually swim.

We ended up staying well into the afternoon and went home exhausted and sunburned. Everyone ended up falling asleep as soon as we got home.
