Being hugely pregnant didn't help with the Easter preparations this year. All my energy seemed to be shot, and before I knew it, Easter was just around the corner, the eggs were sitting un-dyed and the girls were chomping at the bit to start celebrating.
Tyler was finally able to break away a bit early for us to do the traditional Easter preparations: dying eggs, making confetti eggs, and decorating sugar cookies. Usually I try to space out the activities to maximize the entertainment value. Not this year- it turned into an all out blitz of fun. In the end the girls loved it, and that is all that mattered!
Hannah must of have worked for a good 20 minutes on this one egg.
Decorating sugar cookies.
Maddie loved this part of the evening.
Too much sugar. . . .
Final products. . . minus a few "tests."
Eggs ready to be stuffed with confetti.
