Sorry to all for the long long delay in posting. The month of January was absolutely crazy for us! January was spent re-arranging the house to switch the den around to make room for the nursery, working like mad to finish off my job with no loose ends, sewing every chance I had to make blankets for the baby and for a few baby gifts we needed to do, and sorting and cleaning everything we could get our hands on. What a month! That of course was on top of the all the normal things (i.e. chasing after two whirlwind children).
The end of January the girls and I boarded a plane for Texas, where we will remain until the newest addition joins the family the beginning of March. The flight was blissfully uneventful, despite the death of our portable DVD player mid-flight (this must be replaced before we fly again!). The girls were great, immigration was a breeze, but I was horribly annoyed as I tried to push a stroller, a cart loaded with bags, and wrangle two kids through customs, all while 8 months pregnant. People would stop, stare, whisper about how full my hands were, but not a single person offered to help. At one point everything fell off my cart, Hannah was crying and still people just stopped and stared. I love how helpful we are as a human race!
Since our arrival we have been enjoying the cooler weather, and loving being back on US soil. We love living overseas, but this has been a welcomed break for us! We have been enjoying good 'ol US standbys such as McDonalds (thank you happy meal toys for hours of entertainment), Target, normal, cheap grocery stores, etc. It has truly felt like a vacation. So far we have enjoyed an abundance of playgrounds, the zoo, the library, and the "hot pool" in the backyard. The kids are having a great time.
So this is where we will be for the next few months. Tyler will join us in a little over two weeks, which will be a welcomed relief for me. Despite help from grandparents, it is a lot of work to chase these two girls 24/7!
Sorry no pictures today, I cannot find the cord for the camera, but next time! In the meantime we will continue to enjoy life in the US and I will continue to enjoy the last month of pregnancy. This is so not my favorite part: getting up 12 times to go to the bathroom during the night, barely being able to get out of bed, getting winded chasing the kids upstairs, having a hard time sitting through church. We will all be quite glad to meet this new little person very soon!

Salute to you, Jen! I can’t imagine my self being 8 months pregnant flying solo with kids under 5. Tyler is very, very, lucky man. Have a safe labor and don’t forget to post the new kid pictures. I mean pictureSSSSSSSS! ^_^
Hugs
Wow, you are incredible. Good luck and hope the little one doesn't keep you all waiting too long.
Oh is Emily doing pre-school while she is there or not?
Wow--you are busy! I'm sorry people weren't more helpful. I was actually pleasantly surprised by everyone on the trains and in the airports when I traveled with my 2, 4 suitcases, 2 carseats, a stroller, and 4 carry-ons--a couple different very kind gentlemen did way more than I would ever expect and saved me from breaking down crying. And I wasn't even pregnant! :)
