We started off with cinnamon rolls, an Emily absolute favorite. I opted for pink frosting, which the kids found strange instead of fun. Emily also did not like sprinkles on hers. Good thing I had only put sprinkles on them once they were on the plate!
We moved on from there to making sugar cookies. This is the first time I had both kids involved from start to finish making and decorating cookies. As you can see if turned out to be quite an adventure. And the kitchen afterwards was a sad site to see. . . .
After getting cleaned up from the cookie adventure the girls and I delivered some cookies to the kids' cousins house.
And lest anyone worry that I was forgotten so far away from Tyler, the beautiful flowers he sent!
