This year I got to celebrate Mother's Day as the mother of THREE beautiful girls. How lucky am I?! I feel very very blessed to have three beautiful, healthy, strong, creative, independent, smart, happy girls. Life doesn't get much better than this!
We celebrated this year with three hours of church in the tropical heat of our un-air conditioned chapel (did I mention it was hot yet?). We followed this with a small nap and a delicious dinner of Indonesian satay and peanut sauce. The kids (with some help from Tyler) gave me beautiful carved Indonesian monkey statues. I have loved these statues for awhile (Tyler's parents have a set) and while in San Antonio we spotted some in an Indonesian import store. Tyler was quite sneaky not only getting them back to Houston without my knowledge, but later in packing them across the ocean back to Barbados. Way to go Tyler!
This was how Hannah spent he morning getting ready for church. Digging through the baby's closet, pulling out her bath seat and sitting in the middle of the kitchen floor in it. Way to go Hannah!
And finally some beautiful pictures of my best Mother's Day gift this year, our newest addition. She looked darling in her dress (thanks Nana!) and I had to get a few pictures of her smiling at the camera. She is getting quite good at spontaneous smiles, and we love it!
