We hosted the staff and families from Tyler's office for a Christmas party on Boxing Day. We became a huge fan of boxing day after living in Barbados- where it was a national holiday. I'm not sure why it isn't bigger in the US- but I love it! What's not to love about having the day after Christmas off?
We ate, we played, we all had a great time. The kids loved playing with the interns from the office and the son of one of Tyler's staff.
We started the fun with a White Elephant exchange. These are always a ton of fun overseas where people are new to the concept. The popular item: chocolate (and really who can blame anyone on that one?!). Our take: Save the Penguin (turned out to be the sleeper hit of the game. After we opened it up everyone found it quite entertaining).
Some Wii action. Samba de Amigos to be specific.
Everyone got into the Wii fun!
Is this not he cutest boy ever? He's darling.
Preparing for a future career in medicine. And again- seriously so cute.
Maddie making friends. And being envious of her not-as-cool as the Wii maraca.
Hannah's new bunny. She loves it.
Maddie was being quite social. She even let people other than Mom hold her!
Group Shot: hopefully the beginning of a yearly tradition!
