For an end-of-the-school-year present for both girls' classes I wanted to take some good pictures of each of the kids and put together a photo book for the teachers, including group shots, candids I had taken throughout the year (field trips, plays, etc), and individual shots of the kids. I was able to sneak the kids away during recess and take some really fun individual shots. For the most part I was super pleased with how they turned out, and even the ones I was slightly disappointed in, the teachers told me they loved that they captured the kids personalities. And really, isn't that what a good pictures is really about anyway?
Emily's class this year has been fantastic. Her teacher is an awesome Canadian with two of her own girls, and a boy on the way. She's taking next year off for maternity leave and we are crossing our fingers she goes back to teach the following year so Hannah can have her for Kindergarten! Her husband is the school principal. Emily class this year is 15 students from five different countries: US, Korea, Russia, Indonesia, and Turkey. Emily has loved all the new friends she has made this year.
